I’m just getting started with oil painting and every time you go to a different teacher they ask you to have a different palette. After my first class where I splashed out on Art Spectrum and Daler Rowney (which are beautiful paints) I decided to stick to a smaller budget for the next class. After a bit of research I discovered the Classico oil paints which have high quality pigments at very reasonable prices. I’m every bit as delighted with these paints as I was with the higher priced artist quality paints. I found that some were quite thick and others creamier but they were a joy to paint with and I got excellent skin tones with them. My painting has vastly improved and I’m really enjoying using lavish amounts of this lush paint because I’m not worrying about the cost.

Purchased from HobbyLand, quick delivery. I am very satisfied with the quality of this oil color brand

Maimeri has some paints that I cannot find in other brands with a reasonable price like benzimidazolone yellow (permanent yellow lemon). In their website, they have details of each paint, which is very helpful. Some paints are oily, meaning the pigment and oil are separated. Other paints are very dense, difficult to squeeze. Overall, I am satisfied.
